Discipleship

What is discipleship? Very simply, discipleship is relational. At its core discipleship is about growing in your love and trust of Christ, and experiencing true Christian fellowship. Discipleship goes beyond ‘doing’ Christianity, and gets into ‘being’ made new in Christ’ image. It is not just about going to church, reading your Bible, and praying, instead discipleship is about a personal relationship with Christ that those disciplines are meant to develop. Discipleship is a lifelong journey that never ends!

So what is a discipleship group? It is a group of people that are committed, just like you, to discovering what it looks like to be a disciple of Christ. We will be sharing our lives with each other; our joys, our concerns, our questions, our struggles, our triumphs. We will be committed to praying for each other, encouraging each other, and above all else pointing each other to God. It will be a safe place for you to be just who you are, just who God created you to be. (And if you aren’t sure who that is, it will be a place for you to discover that!!)
